Stefanos Alafouzos, Painter

This is the website of Athens-based painter and artist Stefanos Alafouzos. Born in Athens, Greece, in 1971, Alafouzos studied at Vakalo Art School from 1990-2004. He has won a number of prizes for his work, including from the Vakalo Art School and the Volkswagen Beetle Art competition.

A keen fan of rock music, which heavily influences his art, Alafouzos is also a drummer in his spare time.

He has exhibited across Greece and Europe, including at CHEAP ART (Athens and Thessaoliniki), TinT (Thessaoliniki), and ARTmART (Vienna, Austria). He is currently exhibiting at Hoxton, Gazi, Athens until 31st July 2007.
